A letter to myself,

If your cravings for processed crap (Ritz crackers with PB again?) are becoming too strong and you have your mind set on failing your nutrition goals then you must read this before officially caving in.

1. Wait until tomorrow morning. The food will still be there.
2. Alzheimer’s isn’t worth the few minutes of joy on your lips.
3. Getting complimented on your physique is far more enjoyable than a cookie.
4. Don’t trick yourself into believing you are deficient of a nutrient just because you are super hungry. (If you crave a cupcake, you are not deficient of cupcakes.)
5. You are addicted to super processed hyper-palatable foods. If you MUST eat a desert at least make it yourself (such as banana icecream with pb and cacoa)
6. When tomorrow morning arrives the cravings will be gone.
7. If you binge tonight, tomorrow morning will be painful.

And remember, if you fail, get back on the horse. Look at how many times you tried to give up porn before being successful. The world is full of cheap and simple pleasures that steal your joy of deeper meaning. You are stronger than all the bullshit.
